Naoaki Usui, a Japanese journalist travelled to border areas during the Liberation War of Bangladesh to collect first hand information about the existing situation prevailing in Bangladesh. He let the world know about the killing, torture and genocide taking place inside Bangladesh. He visited several battle fields to collect news about the Liberation War. As a mark of recognition for his role and contribution in our Liberation War, Naoaki Usui is awarded Friends of Liberation War Honour (Posthumous).
