She played a vital role in organizing meetings and seminars in favour of the Liberation War. Her house was a shelter for the Bangladeshis. She raised her voice against all kinds of repression against Bangladeshi women during the Liberation War. For her remarkable contribution towards the Liberation War, Shrimati Rinki Roy Bhattacharya is awarded Friends of Liberation War Honour.
