CITATION

Shri Pankaj Saha was a young journalist of Akashbani Kolkata during the Liberation War. He reported on the maiden flag hoisting ceremony in Bangladesh Mission, Kolkata and the historical event of return of Bangabandhu from Pakistan prison. He played an important role in conducting pro- liberation programmes in Akashbani along with Bangladesh Betar artists in exile. For his remarkable support and contribution, Shri Pankaj Saha is awarded Friends of Liberation War Honour.
