CITATION
Janab Munshi Mohammad Fazle Kader, an Indian national, was an employee at the then Pakistan Deputy High Commission in Kolkata. When preparations were underway to raise the flag of Bangladesh in the Deputy High Commission, Fazle Kader devoted himself to the service of Bangladesh. He provided the highest cooperation and extended all out support to Deputy High Commissioner Janab Hossain Ali and Press Secretary Janab Maksud Ali. He worked sincerely in preparation of documents, distribution of letters and leaflets and participating in meetings and processions. Although his salary was not paid regularly, Fazle Kader aligned himself with Bangladeshis and worked relentlessly for them. Such a loyal and selfless service provided by an Indian national was critically important for Liberation War. For his great contribution, Janab Munshi Mohammad Fazle Kader is awarded Friends of Liberation War Honour.
