During the Liberation War, Shri Jagdish Chandra Dey created paintings reflecting the genocide, torture by Pakistan Army and also the gallant action of Freedom Fighters. By holding exhibitions, public support for Liberation War was created. The sale proceedings collected by selling the paintings were donated to the refugee camps. For his great contribution, Shri Jagdish Chandra Dey is awarded Friends of Liberation War Honour.
