During our Liberation War, David Wiesbroad was an administrator of Bangladesh Information Center. He made immense contribution in creating public opinion among the American citizens in favour of the Liberation War in Bangladesh. He played an important role in the background in getting the Saxby-Church Resolution accepted in the US Senate. As a mark of respect for his contribution in our Liberation War, David Wiesbroad is awarded Friends of Liberation War Honour.
