CITATION
Archer K. Blood was the US Consul in Bangladesh during 1971. He witnessed the gruesome killings on the 25 March night. He was the first diplomat to communicate about the genocide through diplomatic wire to the US policy makers. For his stand against the barbaric Pakistan regime and its atrocities, Archer K. Blood is awarded Friends of Liberation War Honour (Posthumous).
