As a journalist of the 'Statesman’ of West Bengal, Shri Manosh Ghosh published various reports which helped in reflecting the true picture of Liberation War. In the document titled 'Dateline Bangladesh' published in June 1971 from Bombay, his reports were included. Through these reports, the readers were made aware of the miseries of our people and the gallant actions of Freedom Fighters. For his great contribution towards the Liberation War, Shri Manosh Ghosh is awarded Friends of Liberation War Honour.
